The question-and-answer format is engaging for young readers. Bright and cheery illustrations clearly support the text and provide depictions of potential answers to the questions posed. Even toddlers will know the correct answers and will howl at the monsters' goofy choices. For example, "What kind of pajamas do monsters wear?" The options depicted on the page include a four-legged onesie, a nightcap, four bunny slippers, and a roll of toilet paper. You guessed it: the entire roll of TP.
