When a group of Disney villains known as the Overtakers threaten to release two of their leaders from Disney captivity, the five teens of the Kingdom Keepers must work together to protect the Disney magic and keep the evil locked up.

Five teenagers are hired by Disney as actors for its newest technology, Daylight Hologram Images. Soon, the kids are pitted against Disney villains and witches that threaten both the future of Walt Disney World and the stability of the world outside the park's walls.

When the evil Overtakers gain control of a computer server at the Magic Kingdom, allowing them to put the holographic hosts into permanent comas if they should fall asleep, Finn and the others race against time to find the missing Jez and foil the plan.
