The Black & White In Colour conference held in November 1992 continued where Isaac Julien's documentary programmes of the same name left off. The conference, sub-titled "Prospects of Black Intervention in British TV and Film", posed the question - so where do we go from here? It brought together major television controllers, black programme and film-makers and key decision makers from the predominant film and television institutions.
