Summary
This historical drama is based on the events surrounding the release of the Pentagon Papers, documents which detailed the history of the United States' political and military involvement in Vietnam. The story centers on Kay Graham, the first female newspaper publisher in the country (specifically of the Washington Post), as well as her tough editor, Ben Bradlee. The two become involved in an unprecedented power struggle between journalists and the government, exposing a cover-up that has spanned four different American presidencies.

Summary
Based on the true story of one man's fight against one of the greatest miscarriages of justice in British legal history. Starting more than 20 years ago, the Post Office wrongly dismissed, harassed, and prosecuted hundreds of innocent sub-postmasters for theft, fraud, and false accounting. Sub Postmasters were told they were the only ones to report a problem with a new computer system called Horizon. When Alan Bates was fired, he refused to accept the Post Office blame. He found and brought together a group of other isolated and wrongly accused victims to form the Justice for Sub Postmasters Alliance. Alan Bates and his friends exposed a shocking scandal at the heart of the Post Office, a government-owned and much-loved national institution.

Summary
"The history of the post office as America's own story, told from a ... perspective over more than two centuries. The mandate to deliver the mail--then 'the media'--imposed the federal footprint on vast, often contested parts of the continent and transformed a wilderness into a social landscape of post roads and villages centered on post offices. The post was the catalyst of the nation's transportation grid, from the stagecoach lines to the airlines, and the lifeline of the great migration from the Atlantic to the Pacific. It enabled America to shift from an agrarian to an industrial economy and to develop the publishing industry, the consumer culture, and the political party system"--Amazon.com.
