  1. The Minnesota Author Project, associated with MN Writes MN Reads, is a contest for indie authors across the state of Minnesota. Through this project, libraries are helping local authors get the recognition they deserve for writing great books. Winners are announced each fall at the Minnesota Library Association Convention.   2. Minnesota Author Project books are available as ebooks through MN Writes MN Reads and ebooks Minnesota. You can read them online or download them to your device using the Biblioboard app. Explore previous finalists and winners here.
