About the Author

Karen Keskinen was born and raised in Salinas, California, and has also lived in Wellington New Zealand and in California's Northern San Joaquin Valley. She now lives and works in Santa Barbara. Keskinen is the author of BLOOD ORANGE and BLACK CURRENT, first two books in the Jaymie Zarlin mystery series. BLOOD ORANGE has been nominated for the coveted Shamus Award for Best First PI Novel (2014) . DRAGON FRUIT, third book in the series, releases on Sept. 1, 2016!
