Virginia's father, a writer, has always tried to instill a love of reading in her and her three siblings. One summer, Virginia discovers a tree house. Books begin to mysteriously appear inside it. Virginia becomes fascinated by the books and, eventually, all four children gather in the tree house. Thanks to reading, the four become closer and much more united.
