Mourning the death of the mother to whom she was incredibly close, Katy travels trepidatiously to the Amalfi Coast for a vacation they had planned together. There, she has a real shock: she spots her mother, alive, tanned, and decades younger, as she was when she summered in Positano before meeting Katy's father. Magically, Katy gets the chance to know her mother as she was then.

Rebecca Serle is an author and television writer who lives in New York and Los Angeles. Serle developed the hit TV adaptation of her YA series Famous in Love, and is also the author of The Dinner List, and YA novels The Edge of Falling and When You Were Mine.
