About the Author

Cara Koscinski

Cara Koscinski has a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and is a veteran therapist. She specializes in working with children who have autism, Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD) , ADHD, learning disabilities, and special needs. Cara frequently speaks about autism and pediatric topics across the US. She teaches continuing education courses in the US and UK to train therapists, teachers, parents, and other professionals. Cara has successfully founded two therapy clinics for children with special needs. She loves to have fun with her clients!

Cara is known as, 'The Pocket Occupational Therapist.' Along with music and behavior therapists she created CDs, Sound-Eaze and School-Eaze for children who are afraid of loud noises such as: fireworks, thunder, sirens, & toilet flushes.

Two of Cara's books won 2015 Family Choice Awards: The Special Needs SCHOOL Survival Guide and The Pocket Occupational Therapist/The Parent's Guide to Occupational Therapy for Autism & Special Needs.
