Dick Cross

Dick Cross (b. 1948) grew up in Virginia, attended The University of Virginia, served an an officer in the United States Navy, then completed graduate programs at both Harvard and Columbia Universities. His career started as a young consultant with a celebrated group of Harvard Business School professors. They were formative years. He continued on to build his own consulting firm, and then in the early 1990's began running underperforming companies for investors. He also become an operating partner for private equity funds. Along the way he created The Mid-Tier Presidents Course in the Harvard GSD Executive Program, which he led for 5 years. He is an eight-time turnaround CEO and President. As a hands-on Chairman and consultant he has driven over one hundred mid-tier businesses to higher levels of achievement. He resides now in Concord Massachusetts, is a partner in a mid-tier private equity firm, Alston Capital Partners, and continues to speak, write and consult. He and his family spend the warmer months on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay,
