Living in New England, Marcia Strykowski has always felt a connection to the ocean and its creatures. To celebrate the publication of Call Me Amy, Marcia adopted a seal pup through World Wildlife Fund. When she's not watching the waves, Marcia works at a public library. Earlier between earning her BS in Fine Arts and raising her children, she worked for seven years in textbook publishing.
