About the Author

Avalon Nuovo is an award-winning illustrator from Los Angeles who graduated with a BFA in illustration from ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena. She has worked for clients such as The New York Times and Natur Och Kultur, among many others. When not drawing, Avalon can usually be found at the potter's wheel, playing music and video games, or hanging out with a cute dog. She currently lives in Amsterdam.
