Carole Massey

Carole uses a variety of media including pastel, watercolour, acrylic and drawing media. Her work is in many private collections and subjects include landscape and still life as well countless human and animal portrait commissions. Carole Massey's distinctive work has been acknowledged with a number of exhibitions, and her patrons in Europe, North America and the Far East include celebrities and royalty. Members of the Queen's personal staff were impressed with Carole's portfolio and sanctioned a painting based on Lord Snowdon's celebrated photograph of the Prince of Wales and family at Highgrove. The picture's proposed auction in support of one of Diana's charities was overshadowed by the personal tragedies that beset the family.Based in Brittany, Carole is a popular demonstrator for workshops; she tutors courses for the FSC at Flatford Mill Field Centre, Suffolk; at Watershed Studios in Essex and painting holidays in SW France as well as Brittany. She has been a frequent contributor to regional and national TV arts programmes and has written six books, all published by Search Press Ltd - see Amazon listings.
