Rebecca Balcarcel

Rebecca was born to a Guatemalan dad and an Anglo-American mom in Iowa. She's lived in Texas since age ten, and she teaches English at a community college. Rebecca is also YouTube's SixMinuteScholar. Rebecca took an MFA in Creative Writing and Literature from Bennington Writing Seminars in 2002. Her book of poems, PALABRAS IN EACH FIST, came out from Pecan Grove Press in 2009.
