Whitney Stewart will travel far for a story. She's trekked in the Himalaya with Sir Edmund Hillary and visited remote Buddhist monasteries in Nepal, Tibet, Myanmar, and Japan. She's interviewed Nobel laureates, sat for days in meditation retreats, and even been a puppeteer and salad chef in France. She is the author of both fiction and nonfiction for young readers--from tots to teens.Whitney also collaborated with Denis Havel on FELDPOST: The War Letters of Friedrich Reiner Niemann, A German Soldier on the Eastern Front and wrote an award-winning travel series on her search to find her husband's uncle who went missing in World War Two.
