About the Author
Melanie Porter is a graduate of Central Saint Martin's College in London. She spent 10 years working as a knitwear designer for a number of international fashion brands before turning her expertise to furniture with hand-knitted panels in 2008. Melanie's ability to create exquisite, textured fabrics has drawn attention from clients and press all over the world. Her work is now sold at prestigious department store Lane Crawford in Hong Kong and lifestyle boutique Wolf & Badger in London. She is the author of Hand-Knit Your Home and The Hand-Knitted Nursery, both published by CICO Books. She lives in central London.
