How do you lose a parent twice? Author Rick Lauber experienced this when caregiving for his father. With advanced Alzheimer's disease, Lauber's father first forgot his own family and then passed away. Lauber has since shared his experience with and advice for prospective, new and current caregivers in his first book, Caregiver's Guide for Canadians.
