Natalie Walton

Natalie Walton is an interior stylist, designer and author who helps people to connect to ideas on how to live their best lives. She creates genuine and atmospheric interiors, meaningful products, and emotional connections to story for brands and businesses. As the founder of Imprint House, a design studio and online emporium based in Australia, she helps people enhance the everyday. These ideas are distilled in her book This is Home: The Art of Simple Living (Hardie Grant) . More recently she has launched Still: The Slow Home, which explores the idea of how we can simplify our lives and embrace slow living. BIOGRAPHYNatalie Walton has always been interested in understanding how our environments shape our lives and communicating big ideas in engaging ways. After graduating from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Arts and gaining a Masters of Arts in Communication from the University of Technology Sydney, she worked as a news journalist and was a regular speaker on ABC Local Radio.For five years she was deputy editor at the award-winning Real Living magazine, and continues to write and style for leading interiors and lifestyle magazines. Her work has appeared on the pages of international titles for Elle Decoration, Livingetc and Harpers Bazaar. In Australia, Natalie is a regular contributor to Australian House & Garden, Country Style, Home Beautiful, Inside Out and Marie Claire.Through the editorial content agency she runs with photographer Chris Warnes - Warnes & Walton - her styling and writing work has been published across the globe - from France to Brazil and Denmark to Singapore.Over the course of a decade, her styling work has appeared in campaigns for a diverse range of advertising clients, including Dorf, Freedom and Optus, as well as smaller boutique businesses such as Cultiver Goods and Tigmi Trading.Natalie has also hosted workshops, including her online course The Styling Masterclass. In many ways, her book This is Home: The Art of Simple Living (Hardie Grant) evolved from her respected design and arts journal, Daily Imprint, which was launched in 2007. Most recently, she has launched a podcast Imprint, which explores how we can live our best life. She continues to design and style homes and interior spaces for clients around the world.
