Welcome to We Can Sign illustrated guide for Kids, I am so honored to be part of your ASL learning journey! Learning ASL was one of the biggest turning points in my life and helped me stop being ashamed of my Deafness. I will never forget the first time I felt comfortable pulling my hair back into a ponytail in public and being proud of my identity as a person with a hearing loss. I am so thankful to all the people who also learned sign language so that I could more fully participate in conversations with my family and friends.
