Sebastien Richard was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada in 1974. He is a John Maxwell Team Certified Speaker, Coach, and Trainer. He currently resides with his wife, Elisabeth, and his three children (Jason, Marissa, and Katelyn) in Prince Edward Island, Canada.

He has authored two books:

He once was asked (about Lead Like a Superhero) how long it took him to write his book. His answer was epic: "It took me about eight months to write the book, but it took me twenty years to believe I could do it."

He is a firm believer in Mark Twain's popular quote, which says, "'The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why." By speaking and writing, he found his 'WHY' - and he wants to help other people find theirs.
