Richard Jones is a qualified London tourist Blue badge Guide and a writer on many aspects of British history, lore, hauntings and legends. He is an acknowledged expert on the Jack the Ripper murders, in which capacity he has written two well received books - Uncovering Jack the Ripper's London and Jack the Ripper:- The Casebook.

He has also written extensively on haunted Britain and Ireland, as well as on the myths, legends and folklore of the British Isles.

In addition, he has written books and presented documentaries on the London of Charles Dickens, Jack the Ripper's London, the life of William Shakespeare and Sherlock Holmes.

He conducts regular walks around London, including his acclaimed Jack the Ripper Tour, his famous London Ghost Walk and his various tours around the London of Charles Dickens and Sherlock Holmes.
