Cara Sue Achterberg is a writer, blogger, and rescue dog advocate who lives on a farm in South Central, Pennsylvania. She has written three novels (I'm Not Her, Girls' Weekend, and Practicing Normal) , one memoir (Another Good Dog: One Family & Fifty Foster Dogs) , and a handbook/memoir of the organic life (Live Intentionally: 65 Challenges for a Healthier, Happier Life) .Her upcoming memoir, One Hundred Dogs & Counting: One Woman, Ten Thousand Miles, and a Journey into the Heart of Shelters and Rescues will be released July 2020 from Pegasus Books (and is available for preorder now) .Her next novel will be published by Black Rose Writing in January 2021.
