About the Author

Diane Stresing

Cleveland? Not Cleveland! That's what many of my friends and relatives had to say when I moved (from Columbus) to Northeast Ohio in 1989. Well, I found out the North Coast is a wonderful place, resplendent in natural beauty and populated with very friendly folks. In my "day job" as a freelance copywriter, I enjoy writing projects that feature the people, places, and businesses of NE Ohio. Still, my favorite project so far, by far, has been researching and writing 60 Hikes Within 60 Miles of Cleveland.

My second title, Dumb Things We Say to Dogs, is a collection of essays about hiking and hikers in Ohio, the musings of a soccer mom, and - as the title suggests - some dumb things I say to my dogs.

I have two additional works in progress, both for middle grade readers. If you would like to book me for a writer's workshop or school author visit, please see my website, www.DianeStresing.com.
