Susan Grigsby, a writer and teacher, lives in St. Louis, Mo.  Her picture books include the award- winning books In the Garden with Dr. Carver and First Peas to the Table. Her poetry has been published in national journals including Quarterly West, New Letters, Sycamore Review, Sou'wester, and Margie: The American Journal of Poetry.
