About the Author

Jane Monteith

Jane Monteith was born in England and grew up in Surrey before immigrating to Canada in 1981. Even though she explored art and creativity from an early age, it wasn't until her late thirties that she began making a career from it. As a school gym muralist, she travelled across the province of Ontario for over a decade painting mascots and logos on vinyl mats with screening inks. After tiring of the travel, Jane decided to explore other artist mediums and became interested in fluid art when she found alcohol inks. She began sharing her art form on Instagram and has since established herself and her art, known as MOD Minis, internationally. Jane also teaches online classes and shares tutorials on YouTube.
