About the Author

Diane Culhane

A lover of art, Diane Culhane is a ceramic artist, painter and an art educator with a BFA from University of Utah 1979 & Master's from Seattle University 1992. Diane is represented by galleries and has sold her work nationwide. Her work is displayed in public collections, hospitals, corporations and private collections. She has completed residencies at Anderson Ranch and Vermont Center for the Arts. During the summer months Diane dedicates her time to teaching children at Kelsey Creek Fine Art School, Bellevue, WA which she established in 1992. Diane has taught at Bellevue Arts Museum, Kirkland Arts Center, Pratt Fine Arts, Seattle Pacific University, Bellevue School District and is currently teaching workshops across the nation and online. Ultimately for Diane, it is all about the love of making and sharing art's creative processes.Diane lives in West Seattle and paints out of her studio in Ballard WA.
