Andrew Boyd Hutchinson

A historian, educator, coach, and runner, Andrew Boyd Hutchinson was disappointed to find there was no history book on the shelf for XC before penning his inaugural edition of "The Complete History of Cross-Country Running" in 2012. His fascination with history and athletics has led to coverage for "Track and Field News", "METER Magazine" (an imprint of Tracksmith) , and the "Adventure Projects" network. He has connected with coaches and athletes of all abilities in the course of his research, and is currently based in the Bay Area.
