About the Author

After completing his service in the United States Navy as a cryptologist, and then in the video game industry for companies including Midway and Sega, Chris made his way into comics and has been with IDW Publishing for over 10 years as a Senior Graphic Artist. He has also written a number of titles for them during that time. His first project, Transformers: The Reign of Starscream, helped pave the way for more Transformers-related books such as the two prequel miniseries Transformers: Alliance, Transformers: Defiance (both appearing on the New York Times best-seller list) , as well as contributing three issues to the Transformers: Tales of the Fallen series.Growing up a fan of dinosaurs and monsters, Chris had a dream come true writing the longest-running Godzilla series in comic history, Godzilla: Rulers of Earth. He also has written an issue for the Godzilla: Legends and Godzilla: Rage Across Time miniseries and helps out as a Creative Consultant for IDW's Godzilla titles.In addition to Godzilla and Transformers, Chris has also written issues for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Street Fighter franchises as well.Chris lives in San Diego, CA... finally in an apartment that doesn't seem to be haunted.
