In 2010 Iris changed finger-painting forever when she began to treat the technique with the seriousness it deserved. The young artist's career exploded as she discovered the advantages finger painting lent, soon people were filling up waitlists to sign up for her workshops. These once monthly classes were so popular among beginner and intermediate artists that Quarto Publishing approached her to make a book about her unique style. Eager to bring finger painting to as many learners as possible, Iris jumped at the opportunity to translate her workshops into an easy-to-understand text. It is important to Iris that people experience the joy of adult finger painting. Iris is currently working on her second book. In her free time, when Iris is not painting, she loves to backpack remote adventures abroad and teach herself video editing.
