Kathy Garver

Kathy Garver most well known for her iconic role as Cissy in the classic TV series Family Affair has also garnered acclaim in film, stage, voice over for animation, commercials and ADR. She has won four Audies (the Oscar for the spoken word) in audio book narration and was recently awarded the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award by the Motion Picture Council adding to her previously received Former Child Star- Lifetime Achievement Award received from the Young Artist Award Foundation. With a graduate degree from UCLA and studies at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, Kathy has further expanded her skills to writing, producing, lectoring and teaching. Her newest book, Surviving Cissy: My Family Affair of life in Hollywood, takes her readers on an exciting ride, gathering threads along the way to stitch together an enjoyable, thoughtful and inspirational tale of life. She continues to act, teach and write. Her next book X Child Stars, Where are Your Favorite TV Stars Now will be released in the spring of 2016 by Rowman/Littlefled.
