About the Author

Milly Diericx

I was diagnosed with Lupus on Christmas 2001. I was 31 years old and had given birth to my second son in October of that same year. I was given one week to live, the attack was so aggressive. I didn't die, but I did spend 6 months in bed, trying to get my ravaged body to work again. I found that many alternative practices were very helpful in my recovery, but more importantly, the thought patterns and emotional aspects in me had to change.
I wrote this book after 14 years of getting to know myself, trying out many different techniques and finally being able to live a normal life without any prescription medications. I thought I had to master wellbeing myself before I could share with others.
In the process, I have become a therapist of the alternative techniques that worked best for me, and now I have a private practice helping all kinds of people overcome their challenges.
I live with my family in Mexico.
