About this item

Recommended by H.K., Collection Resources Dept.

This audiobook is read by the author who does a delightful job of delivering a conversational exposition on graciousness, basic manners and a dozen other things to help you live your best life. Right away when I began listening I recognized things in myself that I wanted to work on, like being more empathetic and a better listener, and some tips on how to maneuver situations at work. Keeping some basic tenets in mind is easier now that this book is still fresh.
The author tosses many good anecdotes into the book, and being from Louisana, has a good grandmother story or two about social graces. I would recommend this to young people who may not be aware of some of the material covered, but it is a fun and helpful look at human socialization that anyone could appreciate.
