About the Author

Amanda C. Hughes

Hello! I'm Amanda C Hughes, or you might know me better as the redhead behind WickedStuffed.com.

After fist-fighting weight-gain and vertigo for almost ten years, I discovered the ketogenic way of life as a means to not only get healthy, but also to become more grounded and practically eliminate my vertigo, which came with a side dish of anxiety. Cooking ketogenically was fun, but it wasn't until I began transforming all of my recipes into whole food recipes that it became my obsession and love, and my body was high-fiving me for it.

When I started writing down all the recipes on my blog wickedstuffed.com, a community of real food, ketogenic-loving friends began to surround me. They inspired me with recipe challenges and ingredient cook-offs, which encouraged some of the recipes you'll find in my books. The rest come from my cross-country travels with my husband and dog, where I collect memories of my favorite recipes and bring them home to recreate ketogenically. If you swoon over the flavors of New Orleans, we might already be food besties.
