September 2019. I finally finished my novel, Hanky-Pank. Here is a blurb from Kirkus Reviews "Carnivals and crime converge in this Michigan based thriller that, at its best, reads like Coen Brothers screenplay." Now if I could just get the Coen Brothers to read it !January 2014I finally have my new novel, Serpent's Tongue out in print and on Kindle. About forty rewrites but it is now what I want it to be. Take a look at Serpent's Tongue and the new adventures of Sydney Simone. Should I do more? I am not so good at marketing and that seems to be more important nowadays to writing success than is the quality of the writing itself.July 2012Wow, what a year. First i was amazed that I won the Discover Mystery Award from Poisoned Pen Press. My mystery, No Regrets, No Remorse was released November 6, 2012 and is doing great. Fab reviews and fan mail. Now I found out that I won second place in the Writer's Digest short-short story contest for 2013, which doesn't sound like much until you realize there were over 7,000 stories submitted. So my new mystery, a sequel, a new Sydney Simone mystery will be released soon.Prior to working full time as a writer I spent many years as an attorney and retired in 2010 from that, but have been busier than ever. I have three non-fiction books in print, Winning the Divorce War, Living Trusts for Everyone, and coming out soon is How to Avoid Probate for Everyone, all three available through Allworth Press and available on AmazonI also have been a professional sculptor for many years under the name R. Farrington Sharp and have done major commissions with my sculpture in over a dozen universities and libraries.
