It can be painting, screen printing, hand stitching, drawing - the goal is always to build a textured, layered visual experience.Marking art is a privilege, being creative is a calling. I've written over forty magazine articles for publications such as Quilting Arts, Cloth Paper Scissors, Fiber Art Now, Generation Q, Sew Somerset and Uppercase.As a surface pattern designer, I have a love affair with covering anything with imagery and texture. I designed a line of quilting fabrics called 'INKED' and am forever adding to my library of patterns.I am passionate about printing fabric with traditional printmaking techniques such as screen printing, monoprinting and direct painting.
