About the Author
Casey York received her formal training in art history before turning to design. She is an avid quilter and designer, drawing her inspiration from masterpieces of the past as well as the contemporary world. Two of her quilts were included in the inaugural Quilt Con quilt show in 2013. Casey has released several stand alone patterns, and her work has been featured in Modern Quilts Unlimited, Stitch, and Generation Q. In addition to writing about quilting, she loves to teach and currently offers workshops in embroidery finished appliqué and improvisational appliqué, in addition to others.
