Virginia spent her childhood with an art utensil in her hand at all times, always dreaming of writing and illustrating a children's book, and appreciating the joy of sending and receiving handwritten notes from an early age.After earning degrees in English and Studio Art from UVA in 2007, Virginia continued her art education at Parsons and School of Visual Arts in New York. Virginia is a member of the International Association of Master Penmen, Engrossers, and Teachers of Handwriting as well as the Society of Scribes in New York City, receiving formal training in calligraphy. She teaches modern calligraphy to both children and adults, celebrating the specialness of everyone's unique lettering styles and encouraging the ongoing practice the skill entails.Virginia's clients include brands like Estee Lauder and Jill Stuart.
