Originally from England, I moved to the US in '98. My wife, Julie, is American, but I don't hold it against her. Our lives are dominated by Royston, a longhaired dachshund, and two cats, Bug and Tegan. In my past, I was a competitive racecar driver and I'm a licensed pilot. My mum likes that I've taken to writing, as she think it's the safest thing I've done. However, I still cycle and I travel to the far flung corners of the world, having recently returned from Latin America.I've been writing eight years and over the last six years, I've had over 130 short stories and articles published. My short fiction has appeared in a number 'Best of' anthologies and my non-fiction has appeared in Writer's Digest.I've had three published books. ACCIDENTS WAITING TO HAPPEN was the first, which was nominated for a Bloody Dagger award for Best Thriller. I followed that book with a collection of short stories, entitled, DRAGGED INTO DARKNESS.My latest book is WORKING STIFFS, which came out on May 15th, 2006. The book is a collection of crime stories set in the workplace, consisting of one short novel and six short stories.I'm also a weekly blog columnist over at Murderati.com.
