This sequel to Mr. Ball Makes a To-Do List features a particular brand of silliness that kids love—Mr. Ball is likable and hilariously optimistic but also reflects real-kid concerns and feelings.
About the Author
When Michael Townsend was a little boy he loved reading comic books, eating chocolate cake, and thinking about the name he would one day give his pet monkey. They were good years.
When adulthood finally struck, Michael, realized that it was time to pick a direction in life... a career. He decided he would go to college to learn how to be a professional chocolate cake eater! He was crushed when he discovered no such profession exists (yet) so he decided to go for his second choice in careers and attended the School of Visual Arts (in NYC) to train as an artist.
After years of artistic training, he dove into the world of writing and illustrating children's books. He's had a blast so far and if all goes well he will one day have enough money to buy a cake factory and a pet monkey. He already has the name picked out, Jiggles Microwave Townsend.
