About the Author
I was born in 1970 in New York City and grew up in Saratoga Springs, New York. I always loved creating things and using my hands. I have childhood memories of drooling over a needlepoint kit and going to visit it in the store (it was too expensive for me to buy) . I learned to crochet when I was in 4th grade. I did latch hook, needlepoint, cross stitch, knitting, ...until finally I found quilting! When I was 32 I took a quilting class and I haven't stopped sewing since! When I found some precuts in a quilt shop it was love at first sight. I found it difficult to find patterns for the precut fabric so I decided to try to design some myself. In the last four years I have designed 60 individual patterns and written one quilting book. I plan on starting my next book in 2014. My husband and I have two kids, Jane and Jack. I named my company "Sweet Jane's" after my daughter.
