About the Author
Jared Cullum is an author-cartoonist and painter with a passion for connecting with people through visual story-telling.Born in Tennessee and raised in Virginia and Texas, Jared is currently settled with his wife and children in Pittsburgh, PA. He has written and or painted story and concept art for Top Shelf Productions, Frenemy Studios, Boom!-Archaia and Jim Henson Studios working on titles such as: Labyrinth, Dark Crystal, Fraggle Rock and Storyteller.Between writing, illustration and field-sketching, Jared is an avid teacher of observational painting from life. He regularly records full length demos for Patreon subscribers and sped up traditional painting demos for his youtube channel, "Jared Loves to Draw."From workshops to schools, Jared has taught in Pennsylvania and Virginia. He currently teaches plein air watercolor, portraiture, cartooning and gouache at Sweetwater Art Center in Sewickley, PA and is available for workshops.He is also available for commissions in both his traditional painting and storytelling styles.
