About the Author
An avid outdoors woman, a passionate world traveler, a lover of the Lhasa Apso dog breed and Maine Coon cats, and a devoted chocoholic, Ardy Sixkiller Clarke writes both fiction and non-fiction. Growing up south of the Mason Dixon line, she found her way west and claimed a piece of land in Montana as home and has been there ever since. Her love of skiing, fly fishing, northern gardening, Montana State University, and the Rocky Mountains has kept her entertained, nourished her soul and provided her comfort for the past thirty years. She is the author of 12 children's books and two non-fiction books. She is currently writing a followup to her current book, Encounters with Star People, which will focus on interviews conducted among the indigenous people of Central America and Mexico.
