About the Author
I am a native of Columbia, Tennessee, which is about 50 miles south of Nashville. I live in La Vergne, Tennessee with my husband of twenty-seven years. We have two adult daughters and I began my writing career after reminiscing with a relative about our wild college days while attending college at Tennessee State University. It was those experiences, that inspired me to write my debut novel, 'ALL THAT AND A BAG OF CHIPS' in 2001. I've been blessed to be a two time Essence Magazine Best-selling Author over the past twenty-years. I'm also blessed to have released my eighteen novel, titled LOVE PAST THE MOMENT, which I wrote while fighting breast cancer. Presently a four year survivor, I plan to use my voice to inspire and encourage others who are dealing with life adversities. It is also my goal to continue to write thought provoking and exciting novels to entertain my audience. I'm presently anticipating the release of the sequel to LOVE PAST THE MOMENT which I hope to have ready for release by the end of winter.
