About the Author
F. Zia is an elementary school teacher and a writer of children's books. Her stories honor inter-generational relationships and combine "contemporary American Indian life with humor and good old fashioned story telling". Her debut book, 'Hot-Hot Roti for Dada-ji' received a Kirkus starred review. F. Zia lives in eastern Massachusetts.
