Stephanie Roth Sisson spent her early childhood years traveling with her sister and expatriate parents . As a child she would entertain herself by drawing pictures. Eventually, drawing pictures turned into a career. After illustrating over 60 books and various magazine pieces, she began writing her own books. Her first book STAR STUFF: Carl Sagan and the Mysteries of the Cosmos, received starred reviews from Kirkus, School Library Journal and The Horn Book Review. It was also named an Orbis Pictus Honor for Outstanding Nonfiction for Children. SPRING AFTER SPRING: How Rachel Carson Inspired the Environmental Movement is her second picture book biography. Stephanie is busy at work on her next books and still travels the world.
