É criador, roteirista-chefe e produtor-executivo da série "Bom Dia, Verônica" para a Netflix. Escreveu roteiros para cinema, como "Uma Família Feliz", "A Menina Que Matou Os Pais", "O Menino Que Matou Meus Pais" e "Praça Paris". Também apresentou um programa de literatura na TV Brasil e foi colunista semanal de O Globo por dois anos. Atualmente, Raphael assina uma coluna na revista Veja.
