About the Author

Mary Anne Richey

Mary Anne Richey, M.Ed., a Licensed School Psychologist, works as a school psychologist in private practice evaluating children with learning disabilities and for gifted eligibility. She consults with teachers and schools and has presented workshops at schools, as well as at state and national organizations on ADHD, executive functioning difficulties, and learning disabilities. She brings years of experience in working with children in many different capacities including as a middle school teacher, administrator, high school guidance counselor, and adjunct college instructor. Mary Anne is passionate about helping children and their families make the most of educational opportunities. She has assisted many students with ADHD and learning disabilities to learn to use their strengths to accommodate their weaknesses.
