She has graced the covers of magazines, been quoted in books, and been interviewed countless times by print and internet media outlets. She has also lent her image to the comic book series "Wonderous 2: The Yaya Han Saga", produced by Lionforge Comics, becoming a legitimate superhero in the comic book world. Starting out as a young cosplaying fan in 1999, Yaya gained notoriety through her prolific award-winning costume creations. With close to 400 intricate and lavish costumes to date, Yaya is a craftsmanship icon in the fandom world and has inspired countless people to get into cosplay. She has appeared as a Guest, Panelist, Judge, Performer and Host to hundreds of conventions and events all over the world.
