About the Author

Natalie Digate Muth

Natalie Digate Muth, MD, MPH, RD is a mother of two, a community pediatrician and registered dietitian recognized for her expertise in childhood obesity, nutrition, and fitness. Her own personal struggle with childhood obesity served as impetus to adopt a heart-felt personal mission to devote all efforts to helping children optimize health, nutrition, and physical activity.

Natalie graduated from UCLA in 2002. She then earned a Master in Public Health in nutrition at University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill completing her master thesis on childhood obesity. She graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine and completed her pediatrics residency at UCLA.

She lives in Carlsbad, CA with her husband and two children.
