David R. Boyd is one of Canada's leading environmental lawyers and an expert in the field of human health and environmental policy. He is a Trudeau Scholar at the University of British Columbia, an Adjunct Professor at Simon Fraser University, and a Research Associate with the POLIS Project on Ecological Governance at the University of Victoria. Boyd has advised the governments of both Canada and Sweden on environmental issues and often works with the David Suzuki Foundation. He lives on Pender Island with Margot Venton and their daughter Meredith, spending lots of time hiking, kayaking, and splashing about on the beach. David is also a four-time Ironman and has completed dozens of marathons and ultramarathons.
